About Kellie Coffey
Kellie entered the country music scene in 2001 with her top 10 single, “When You Lie Next To Me”, which remained on the country charts for over a year and crossed over to the top 20 on Adult Contemporary Chart. Her album of the same name entered the country sales chart at #5. Her second single “At The End Of The Day” reached #12 on the country radio chart. Kellie toured with Kenny Chesney on his “Senoritas and Margaritas” tour and opened for George Strait on his 2004 tour. She’s toured with Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, Dierks Bentley, and many others.
Along the way, Kellie garnered an Academy of Country Music (ACM) Top New Country Female Award and an American Music Award nomination in the same category. She appeared on multiple ACM and CMA award shows as well as many GAC and CMT programs. She has an ongoing relationship with the Walt Disney Company having sung the lead on a national advertising campaign for Disneyland’s 40th anniversary. Her voice can also be heard every night at Epcot’s Illuminations show and during the Christmas holiday’s at Disneyland’s “Believe in Holiday Magic” castle lighting and fireworks spectacular. In March of last year, Disney flew her to Los Angeles to record the lead vocal for Tokyo Disneyland’s Castle Projection Show entitled “Once Upon a Time”. She's worked in the studio with Randy Newman, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Alison Krauss and multiple Oscar, Grammy, Tony and Emmy winners.
Kellie was asked to perform at OU’s Owen’s Stadium for Toby Keith’s “Twister Relief” concert opening for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood in front of 65,000 people. She was also honored to be asked to sing by the Governor of Oklahoma on a live TV broadcast of a prayer service for the victims and survivors of the Moore, OK Tornado.
Now, this Oklahoma native Singer/Songwriter & Mom continues to write and record songs making them available on iTunes, Amazon, and other online stores. In addition, she is a sought-after singer for film and TV projects by Hollywood’s top composing talent. She is currently recording with Richard Carpenter of “The Carpenters” as well as writing and recording her own songs.
